Imagine— New Years Eve 2011 in Chicago IL.  HD Cameras are rolling collecting footage for the most profound documentary on the afro-textured hair industry ever, “THE HARRIET EXPERIMENT.”  111 of the experiment’s 700 participants are piled inside of our production studio/natural hair gallery to chop off relaxer and embrace fros!    The Harriet Experiment  is exclusive to people with genuine curly textures that’ve all made pledges to embrace their natural hair as a community for the duration of 2012.  In order to join the experiment, quite naturally one would have to be natural; therefore, shears and scissors are cutting the remains of devitalized hair on this special day @ The Harriet Experiment’s BIG-CHOP-A-THON.   Each Licensed cosmetologist must make sure everyone starts this voyage with hair that has muscle, and some level curl memory.  Visualize thousands of supporters in attendance sending forth curious vibrations and moral encouragement.     It is also the night before an extravagant launch party that activates the next 365 days of an expedition to natural beauty.   This Experiment means death of the term “Good Hair” as we prove throughout this journey that all people of African Descent were born with ideal hair for their image. Team Harriet set out in Oct 2011, on a 3 month campaign with a goal of registering 700 people, and miraculously achieved just that.  At the expense of $499.00 for the entire year clients have secured a year worth of natural hair styling service , out the perm box workshops, product give a ways and well-coordinated events.  We believe our efforts could change the lives of many women and girls leading all to a land of self-worth, acceptance, and then appreciation.

The objective is to experiment with infinite curl data.  Our aim is to teach a mass group of people the theory and mechanics of natural hair.  We intend to workshop with top brands on an intimate level.  As the organizer of this test I am committed to introducing our 700 clients and audience members  to companies who have high integrity, and  are education based.  I am responsible for pinpointing and recognizing corporations who agree that our clientele should not only look good, and have a technical understanding of how –they should be able to afford to do so.
